Exhibition space to show your artwork. Members can exhibit and sell artwork in the Members Gallery in the Pickering Room each month (except Oct., Dec., Feb.), and in all gallery rooms for the Summer Show (June, July, August). Members can also enter the annual judged shows (Nov. and April) and can be considered for a featured artist show (eligible every 3 years). See our current Exhibition Schedule.
Docent opportunities. Members are eligible to docent at the Gallery. This is a great way to meet artists, art lovers, collectors, residents and visitors, and to educate others about art and our historic Gallery. Volunteering is the backbone of our organization. (If you have experience in retail sales, we need you in the Gift Shop.) See our DOCENTS page on this website!
Art classes. Affordable Art Classes are offered for youth members, from elementary to high school age, as well as workshops for adults, taught by professional artists for a $5 to $15 donation per class.
Paint Outs. Artists’ Guild members meet at the Gallery for Paint Outs every Monday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., except the last Monday of the month (In/Out Day), when the Paint Out is moved to Tuesday.
Newsletter. A periodic newsletter provides news about gallery events, upcoming shows, receptions, classes, calls for artists, competitions, fund-raisers, volunteer opportunities, and Guild announcements.
Links. Member artists with art websites can receive a free link on our Art Links page.
Leadership. Members in good standing are eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors.
Affordability. Our reasonable membership dues start at $5 for Youth members, $25 for Individuals, and go to Life membership for $250, and all levels in between.
History. Our members are proud to be part of a truly historic community artists’ guild and gallery that has been member-supported for more than 50 years!
