Saturday, October 1 9:00-11:30 a.m. (Ages 814) Cartooning Crash Course, Scott Monteith. Combine core drawing skills with the fun of cartoon drawing. Learn to create cartoons, draw action and expression to express mood.
Saturday, November 12 10:00-12:00 noon (Ages 713) Basic Beading with Anna Houghton. Learn the art of designing and making beaded jewelry.
Saturday, January 14 9:00-11:30 a.m. (Ages 8Adult) Youth Art Month Workshop with Ed Keesling and Scott Monteith. Prepare art work for art gallery showing. Learn about matting and framing.
Saturday, February 18 9:00-11:30 a.m. (Ages 1217) Collage Making with Bonnie Brady. Design and create a multipl-media collage picture using a wide variety of materials.
Saturday, March 3 9:00-12:00 noon (Ages 1017) Watercolor Painting with Janis Commentz. Learn to plan and complete a watercolor painting in one session.
Saturday, April 21 9:00-12:00 noon (Ages 1017) Assemblage with Kit Brooks. Learn to recycle, reuse, and create unique works of art with second-hand materials.
Saturday, May 19 9:00-12:00 noon (Ages 1017) Watercolor Painting with Ester Shaw. Learn quick and simple techniques of painting desert plants.

Sunday, September 4 3:00-6:00 p.m. Primitive Pottery Making, Michael Fagan, Lecture/Demonstration. See how early American potters built their pottery, from clay preparation to firing.
Tuesday, October 25 9:00-12:00 noon Encaustic Painting with Ida Foreman. Learn the ancient art of painting with pigmented hot wax. Bring a picture and a few old brushes. Wax and painting surface will be supplied by the artist.
Saturday, November 19 9:00-12:00 noon Primitive Silver Casting by Sculptor/Jeweler Mike Smiley, Lecture/Demonstration. Learn the art of design and casting with hot metal for jewelry making.
Monday, January 16 9:00-12:00 noon Art Marketing Seminar, by Andy Woods of Woods in the Desert Art Gallery. Lecture and discussion of most successful methods for marketing art, including electronic media, web design, working with galleries, and open studio events.
Tuesday, February 14 9:00-12:00 noon Watercolor with Audrey Gillick. Let Audrey walk you through the planning and painting of a watercolor landscape using her tried-and-true approach developed over decades of experience.
Wednesday, March 14 9:00-12:00 noon Acrylic Knife Painting with Darlene Morris. Enjoy the freedom of painting with a pallet knife, mixing colors on the canvas, and the joys of abstract expression.
Saturday, April 28 9:00-12:00 noon Assemblage with Kit Brooks. Recycle scrap and waste materials into dynamic works of art.
Wednesday, May 16 9:00-12:00 noon Watercolor Painting with Darlene Morris. Learn experimental watercolor techniques that develop into a painting.
